Poland HGSS Order To Cash

Heineken Shared Service in Krakow, next to Purchase to Pay (PtP) or Record to Report (RtR), also deals with Order to Cash processes for 26 Operating Companies in 25 languages. Order to Cash is one of the most important processes aimed at effective management of the entire financial area in the organization. 

What do we do in OtC?  As the name suggests, this department takes care of the entire process from placing the order by the customer to the payment for the products. Covering everything from Credit Risk Management and Billing Services to Collection Management and Cash application.

Starting with customer Risk Assessment, where our specialists carefully assess customer's credit worthiness on the basis of internal and external data.

Going next to Billing Services - creating invoices related to the delivery of our core products, but also the creation of invoices which are not related to our core business but to other products like: services or charges.

The Pricing & Discount Team takes care of current product prices and discounts for our customers in ERP.

Finally, the Collection Team who are responsible for managing HEINEKEN’s customer accounts and controlling accounts receivable; they ensure cash is collected on due date and disputes are resolved in a timely manner by managing reminders, calls for payment, and explaining complaints with customers.

Cooperation of our specialists in each of these teams ensures consistency of cash flow in our Company and maintains positive customer and stakeholder relations.

Working in such a dynamic environment, as Order to Cash, besides broadening the knowledge of finance, systems or analytic skills, gives you the opportunity to develop soft skills. In the OtC department, contact with the customer is of great importance, skills such as the ability to talk to a demanding customer, as well as the ability to negotiate in case of debt collection, play a significant role.
