Technology Specialist - Product Architect

This role is part of the Global Digital & Technology department of HEINEKEN International and is located in Krakow.

As a Product Architect you immerse yourself in a collaborative agile squad alongside a business analyst, product owner, and implementation team.

Your impact will extend beyond our largest operating companies, as you contribute to an expansive roadmap, accelerating deployments, standardizing both technical and business perspectives, and reducing total cost of ownership. 
You will own the end-to-end architecture and provides the technology capabilities supporting the global Commerce products and you drive the technology decisions.


Your responsibilities would include:
 

 

  • ensuring consistency of the overall solution
  • working with the Product Owner to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicating program and platform/application requirements
  • formulating the architecture & design based on functional and non-functional requirements, balancing the goals and constraints on the solution
  • ensuring solution design and technical decisions conforms to overall architectural (Domain, Enterprise) vision, principles, and technical roadmap standards
  • conducting continuous improvement analysis on existing application architectures and identifies architectural optimizations
  • maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluate them for applicability
  • ensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Quality, Compliance)
  • managing the quality of the solution and technical debt
  • ensuring the delivered system and services is consistent with the agreed architecture and meet the business requirements.
  • driving the technical validation and ensuring the services of the technology vendors meet the business requirements
  • ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, build, deploy and support the Product are embedded in the team
  • understanding the Product Owner’s needs and converting them into solution architecture specifications and services in line with overall architectural standards and roadmaps
  • shaping global governance frameworks and elevating operating company capabilities
  • forging relationships globally to enhance solution maturity, both technically and business-wise
  • tackling data architecture, ensuring seamless data flows for enhanced journeys, and identifying opportunities for process and technology improvements that have direct business impact
  • planning governance and planning for solution and capability maturity, continually assessing people, processes, and technology- the operating model for sustained excellence
  • zooming out and view the solution as part of the wider D&T architecture to plan ahead in terms of technology and data architecture.


You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • at least 3-5 years of relevant (global) experience in a similar position
  • experience architecting and deploying Commerce IT solutions across multiple markets
  • good knowledge of market leader technology solutions in Commerce area (e.g., e-commerce B2B/B2C, sales order management, pricing & promotions, customer loyalty management, marketing automation, sales force automations, customer service, revenue management, ERP/SAP SD, etc.) and the related architecture
  • good knowledge of Commerce business processes and functionalities (see previous point for examples).
  • understanding the software development life cycle
  • good understanding of system integration and deployment processes
  • middleware and integration knowledge (API Connect, Boomi, SAP PO, Solace, etc.)
  • good knowledge of MySQL or at least one other database and querying language
  • familiarity with at least one major (data) cloud platform, e.g. Azure, AWS
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and collaboration abilities
  • excellent facilitation, presentation, and analysing skills
  • business domain expertise for the relevant product
  • skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling
  • experience in working with Business Intelligence tools would be a plus
  • experience of working in a deadline driven environment with rapid release cycles
  • experience with Agile way of working
  • experience in rollout global solution operating across the markets will be considered as a plus.
