Team lead Reference & Master Data – Heineken Netherlands Supply

As Team lead Reference & Master Data you have a crucial role in keeping the operations running efficiently and effectively as well as realizing the purpose of the Data & Analytics Office to ‘Enable employees and their customers to make informed decisions based on easy accessible and trusted data’ within HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply. With your team (4 FTE) you are continuously working towards maturing Reference & Master Data Quality throughout the entire Data Lifecycle. At the same time you adhere to Global and Industry Standards and Best Practices.

What are your responsibilities as Team lead Reference & Master Data ?
Your goal in this position is to make sure that Master and Reference Data is maintained according to relevant Standards and Service Level Agreements in an easily accessible and trusted warehouse/source system, where Data Quality is of required maturity level. This will enable such that it can be fed into other parts of the organization efficiently and effectively and add value to operation. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Lead a team of Data Administrators
  • Develop a Master Data Management strategy for Heineken Netherlands Supply
  • Implement relevant (Industry, Global, Local) data standards, processes and policies and ensure they are adhered to
  • Conduct/Initiate impact analysis of Global or Local Data initiatives with potential business impact
  • Continues enhance Master & Reference Data Quality
  • Optimize Master & Reference data related processes based on Lean Six Sigma method
  • Identify gaps and misalignments between local and global data needs, standards, processes and policies
  • Contribute in Data Cleansing and alignment initiatives to prepare for Global Initiatives/programs, as well as Local Initiatives
  • Continuously look for best practices inside and outside the organization in Master Data Management to optimize, rationalize and ultimately automate and robotize relevant processes and activities

Within HEINEKEN Netherlands, you will be a part of the Data & Analytics Office, where your team will consist of a growing number of passionate professionals. The main goal for you and your team is to enable your colleagues and customers to make informed decisions based on easy accessible and trusted data and insights.  The Data & Analytics Office consists of four teams: Data Governance, Reference & Master Data, Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. Next to that you will collaborate with several Global teams with regards to standards, policies and tooling.

As Master and Reference data are foundational to almost all processes in an organization, the data must be impeccable - trusted, timely, of required quality and easily accessible – to keep the business running. To keep the business run ahead of competition trusted data is fed to the Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics disciplines to get valuable insights to support data-driven decision making.

Are you the Team lead Reference & Master Data we are looking for?
To be successful we’re looking for individuals who are used to work in a dynamic, fast-moving  environment, where timing and quality are key. You are willing to challenge the status-quo to ensure sustainable business value creation. Also the ideal candidate has:

  • A bachelor’s/master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Information Management related;
  • At least 3 years’ work experience in Master Data Management or data related field
  • Relevant knowledge of (Reference & Master) Data Management. Data Governance and Data Quality Dimensions knowledge is a necessity
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Stakeholder management experience to be able to work with and manage stakeholders from all levels in the organization
  • Experience with SAP ERP and MDM is a pre
  • Project management experience
  • Lean six sigma Green Belt or willing to achieve this level of certification
  • Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position
