Internship – CAD/PLM Configurator
Develop options to manage multi-platform CAD formats in a PLM database.
The internship
Within Global R&D, we develop and govern complex packaging systems. Most CAD data is created in PTC CREO. In addition, PTC’s WINDCHILL (a PLM solution) is in place to manage lifecycles, Bill of Materials etc. Since R&D is co-developing with external agencies there is a need to manage other native formats as well (e.g Solidworks, NX). The internship is about the implications of managing multi-platform CAD - a true engineering assignment!
- You start with understanding the as-is situation.
- We will set the final scope together with you.
- You will work on demo projects but in our live PLM environment.
- You will work within the R&D Packinging and Dispense team and together with external partners.
During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course always with the guidance that is right for you.
The department
The Heineken R&D center is developing both new drinks as well as packaging and dispense systems. Based in Zoeterwoude – in brand new DR. H.P. Heineken Centre – we develop innovations for global roll-out.
The terms of employment
- Your starting date is 1 September 2025
- The internship is fulltime/parttime
- The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
- It is a practice-oriented internship
- You will be based in Zoeterwoude
- During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup
- You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
- You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
- If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed
