Your role at HEINEKEN

The Junior Business IT Consultant (BITC) is a role within the HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply Chain organization with a main focus on business partnering, gathering and defining business requirements and translation into suitable IT services and solutions. As Junior BITC you will also be responsible and/or accountable for project delivery, IT budget and stability of IT services in specific business domains.

You will act as a (strategic) business partner accountable for creating Business IT roadmap (including Digital), delivery and support of suitable IT solutions and enabling process optimizations by IT. You have a key role in defining the Business IT roadmap together with the Business and IT stakeholders and acts as a single point of contact towards business process owners.


In this role, you will:

  • Build a partnership with the business leaders in order to contribute to the development of HEINEKEN’s business strategy;
  • Translate business plans & strategy to an IT roadmap for the assigned business area, in line with policies and standards and approved by the management of the assigned business area(s);
  • Accountable for translating the service request of the business into a new product/service and assign to Service delivery for execution & SLA set up;
  • Maintain and build relationships with internal customers, Global IT partners and relevant parties. Fulfil E2E stakeholder management in relevant business area;
  • Manage all project deliverables from business case, change and communication plan, (non)functional and technical requirements, resources allocation, software, hardware with an agreed scope, quality, budget and time (incl .progress reporting).


Are we looking for you?

As qualifications, our ideal candidate would have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in digital & technology;
  • Experience in working in projects and/or project management;
  • DEV-OPS experience on operational level;
  • The ability to speak the business language;
  • Strong understanding of business processes;
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including understanding of how to build and maintain positive client and peer relationships
  • The ability to identify, assess and manage risks, resulting in effective mitigation in safeguarding the delivery and the meeting of objectives;
  • Preferably experience with working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
