The internship

As an intern you will work within the Talent Acquisition (TA) Team.  Every day we work on matching (young) professionals to the right vacancies within the organization. Each TA Consultant is responsible for his/her own vacancies within a specific field/business, for example Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Marketing. As a TA Consultant you will coordinate the whole recruitment process from start to finish:
 

- Determine job profile with hiring manager

- Writing & promoting (online) vacancies

- Searching candidates

- Screening & interviewing candidates

- Onboarding new employee

As an intern you will get to know every step of the process. You will be paired with one or more TA colleagues and assist in all work and projects. You can expect good supervision and at the same time have the space to indicate what your interests are.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course always with the guidance that is right for you.

The department

The TA team has a lot of contact with different stakeholders, hiring managers, candidates, recruitment agencies and educational institutions. We are constantly looking at what the needs of the business are and how we can best respond to them. The TA consultants have an advisory, coordinating and executive role.  In addition, we are constantly optimizing existing processes and working on various projects, such as:

- Employer branding

- Candidate Experience

- Onboarding

- Internal information

The TA team is a diverse team (of 20 colleagues) and works in sub teams spread over the different locations Leiden & Amsterdam. Every Tuesday we work together at the office in Leiden and we love to socialize and have drinks!

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 September 2022
• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• You are registered at an educational institution
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in Leiden and/ or Amsterdam (and working from home).
• You will receive an internship fee of €500 (HBO/WO)
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

• You are open to learn and to be in contact with many different people
• You are proactive and not shy to ask for help
• You are enthusiastic and interested to learn everything about recruitment

• You are a Hbo or Wo student, the area doesn’t count but your motivation does!
• You have a good command of the English and/or Dutch language
