The internship

One of our focus areas is creating a best-in-class candidate journey in our recruitment efforts. So, we are looking for ways we can ensure a best-in-class candidate onboarding journey.

 

In this internship you will be responsible for the following:

  • Working directly with the Head of Talent Acquisition, TA Leads and Talent Acquisition Business Partners on administration side around our candidate experience and onboarding.
  • Interacting with our People Operations team, Mobility team and our People Team
  • Provide Administration support the Onboarding process for new hires
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on recruitment and onboarding initiatives
  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

During your internship, you’ll dive into the world of recruitment and onboarding, that means learning the ropes directly from experienced and supportive colleagues. You’ll have real opportunities to share your ideas, take initiative, and help us make our hiring process even better.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.

 

Our Internship Conditions

During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:

 

  • A full-time internship, starting on February 1, 2026
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)
  • Your home office will be located in Leiden and Amsterdam
  • At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending 3-4 days a week at the office and 1-2 days working from home
  • You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek
  • You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
  • If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
