Your new role


At HEINEKEN, people are at the heart of our business, and of our Evergreen Strategy.  In this exciting opportunity in our People function, you will develop, shape and manage the recruitment strategy for HEINEKEN in the Netherlands.  Using your deep expertise, you will develop and lead an outstanding and engaged team of TA professionals and campus recruiters, enabling them to deliver excellent recruitment outcomes in attracting and selecting the best talent for HEINEKEN in The Netherlands.


Based from Heineken’s Netherlands Headquarters in Leiden, and also working from our global Head Office in Amsterdam, you will:


  • Lead, develop and support an experienced Talent Acquisition and Campus recruitment team, of c15-20, who recruit for all HEINEKEN Operating Companies in The Netherlands
  • Develop our employer brand and employee value proposition, ensuring we attract the best talent to HEINEKEN in The Netherlands
  • Develop and embed processes to ensure an exceptional candidate experience
  • Review and improve processes for how we screen, assess and select candidates
  • Lead, guide and influence Senior Stakeholders (MT / LT / HRDs) on effective recruitment strategy and other talent topics
  • Develop and deliver on KPI’s / Metrics, and process improvement goals
  • Enable the maximum ROI from recruitment tools and external vendors
  • Sponsor, direct and oversee delivery of a number of recruitment projects
  • Develop and embed strategies to deliver on ED&I initiatives
  • Work in partnership with our People Operations shared service function to ensure efficient and excellent candidate preboarding
  • Work with the People function to ensure an excellent onboarding experience for new joiners
  • Establish and improve standardised ways of working and develop a road map for the future
  • Collaborate with TA Managers in other HEINEKEN locations, and with the Global Talent Acquisition team, to share best practice, challenges and workload
  • Provide input and support in to the Regional and Global Talent Acquisition strategy


Your profile


For this role we are looking for someone with:


  • Significant experience in leading recruitment functions for multi-national organisations, ideally with some exposure to The Netherlands/European talent market
  • Experienced, transformational leader with exceptional people management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, (internally and externally) who can engage and influence at all levels
  • A deep understanding of recruitment strategies, best practices and the talent market.
  • A fantastic communicator and influencer, adaptable and able to create structure and opportunity for others;
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic, empowering and inspiring personality
  • A visionary thinker and collaborative facilitator in the space of recruitment, sourcing, management and leadership
  • Able to use and interpret recruitment data to deliver improved outcomes
  • English language is essential, and Dutch would be highly beneficial
