Process Safety Lead

Specializing in the provision of safety engineering services and solutions to enable The Heineken N.V. to realize the company ambition. Identify all necessary competencies in order to support successful implementation of safety management system in projects. You will organize and deliver training and workshops to support the implementation of local standards and procedures for all the people involved. Important task is coordination of safety issues and preventive actions with relevant departments in GSC and OpCo s . We are expecting that Process Safety Lead will brainstorm ideas for possible safety improvements with management and staff in order to gain ownership for necessary activities and achieve a proper level of compliance.

 

In order to be successful in this position we expect you to have:

  • Continuously enhance, refine and develop our Process Safety Engineering methodologies, templates, reports, tools and internal content for our projects.
  • Champion a culture of Process Safety excellence and managing and eradicating Process Safety risks and hazards to ensure an accident/ hazard free work environment from design phase to handover to operations
  • Be responsible for realization of process investment projects (CapEx) in breweries around the world as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Lead, maintain, improve and implement safety engineering & process hazard analysis specifications & techniques such as PHA, HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL assignment and verification.
  • Knowledgeable with respect to Process Safety studies, Management of Change (MOC), fire safety, machine safety. Lead, build, maintain and improve the knowledge on process safety capabilities within Projects & Engineering.

  • SAFETY -> Identify all necessary competencies in order to support successful implementation of safety management system in projects. Organize and deliver training and workshops to support the implementation of local standards and procedures for all the people involved.
  • TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE -> You understand and advocate Capex roadmap and acts accordingly. Has deep and broad knowledge and experiences in project preparation and management. Broad experience with supplier management.
  • OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP -> You have a deep and broad knowledge of all business processes including relation to the own discipline and reciprocal impact and anticipates the consequences. Ability to train and influence others to ensure compliance to business processes, standards, adherence to project timelines and understanding of capital installations.
  • TPM & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT -> Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, benchmarking and innovation within the own area of expertise.

 

Your work field

Process Engineering Section is a part of the Projects and Engineering department, which is responsible for design, as well as to build, extend and revamp beverage production and brewing equipment against the optimal costs and optimal schedule in order with safety politics of The Heineken N.V.
