The internship

• As an intern you will learn about transformation and the organization of Supply Chain in an international environment.
• On daily level you will work in our international cross functional transformation team consisting of Supply Chain, Change and Communication and Finance
• You will support the team with hands on activities such as data analysis, improvement initiatives, support in manage and administrate request and development backlogs

The department

In 2020, HEINEKEN launched EVERGREEN, our new Strategy and Way of Working. The purpose of Supply Chain Strategy Performance & Transformation team is to enable HEINEKEN to drive performance and make data driven “Grain–to–Glass” decisions, through accurate, fast and actionable insights.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is September 2025
• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• It is a hands on internship and not a research internship
• You will be based in Schiphol office
• You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

The unique you!

• Advanced user in Microsoft solutions: Excel (e.g build formulas, map tables, graphs), PowerPoint (e.g. able to create presentations with animations, videos and icons), Sharepoint (create new pages)
• You are experienced with translating data into relevant information and/or able to interpret data
• You can work individually and remotely, but are also confident in in-person engaging with stakeholders of different levels of seniority, in order to meet timelines and deliverables

We believe that everyone has unique talents and are therefore looking for you;!

• HBO or WO education
• Passion for Supply Chain and data
• Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
