The internship
- Collaborate Across the Business: Interact with stakeholders at our Head Office and local Operating Companies to ensure our sustainability goals align with business value.
- Join a Supportive Team: Be part of the Procurement Governance Team within HEINEKEN Global Procurement Enablement. You’ll be coached by experienced team members and work closely with ESG and Sustainability Compliance Managers, as well as internal support partners.
- Drive Functional Compliance: Help deliver all aspects of Procurement’s compliance with sustainability regulations—ensuring risks are addressed, mitigations are in place, and reporting is clear and well-managed.
- Lead Strategic Communications: Design and execute integrated communication strategies that foster awareness, engagement, and adoption across diverse markets and cultures.

The department
In Procurement Enablement we ensure that our teams in HEINEKEN Global Procurement are able to do what they do best: develop productive relationships with our suppliers, negotiate procurement agreements and ensure our business stakeholders are able to purchase what they need. The different teams within Procurement Enablement consist of subject matter experts in the fields of Digital Transformation, Sourcing, Contract Management, Governance and Compliance and Data & Analytics. The terms of employment
- Your starting date is 1 February 2026
- The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
- The duration of the internship is 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
- It is a practice-oriented internship / theoretical research internship
- You will be based in Amsterdam in the Schiphol Office
- During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup
- You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
- You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
- If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

Conditions of HEINEKEN
- You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
- In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
- In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
- You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
- You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).
