The internship

  • Supporting the Systems & Solutions team with various tasks such as Learning administration, testing, technical questions, reporting, access and authorisations etc.
  • Supporting different stakeholders
  • Participate in sometimes more complex issues to find solutions on how to solve it
  • As an intern you will be providing general support for the department on the various topics
  • Support in different projects where Systems and Solutions is involved in

The department

Heineken Systems & Solutions is a department within People Operations that ensures that all the systems within the local HR landscape are functioning. Systems & Solutions is responsible for all technical developments of all local HR applications and acts as the IT partner/specialist for HR, HR project teams and other HR related stakeholders. Within Systems & Solutions we are responsible for various topics such as payroll, learning, reporting & analytics, leave, and much more!

The terms of employment

  • Your starting date can be discussed
  • The duration of the internship can be discussed (preference for longer periods of e.g. 5 or 6 months)
  • You are registered at an educational institution
  • You will be based in Amsterdam Schiphol
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500 (HBO/WO)
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed


The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
