The internship

The purpose of this internship is to deliver a PowerBI reporting system for the visualization of CAPEX project performances, in the contest of Capital Excellence “Doing The Projects Right”. You will be working with Project and Operational Excellence experts. You will be responsible to design and implement a reporting system to visualize the CAPEX projects performance for Heineken worldwide. This includes:

  • Designing and creation of user-friendly and easy to maintain MS Power BI reports
  • Ensuring clear instructions and training for the users.
  • Once tools are live, to collect user’s feedbacks and improve the reports when necessary.

The department

The intern will be part of the Projects and Engineering (P&E) department in Heineken Global Supply Chain. P&E is the department responsible to manage all the large CAPEX projects in Heineken by building new breweries or production units around the globe. The team is very diverse and inclusive.

You will be a member of the Capital Excellence section, a small team of 5 people, responsible for setting up a program to achieve higher and faster returns by deploying best-in-class thinking across the capital projects portfolio and project delivery value chain.


The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is 15 June 2023
  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
  • The duration of the internship 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • It is a practice-oriented internship
  • You will be based in the BASE located at SchipholAirport, Amsterdam.
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500 (wo & hbo) gross per month based on a fulltime contract
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.


The unique you!

 

You are an HBO student in a relevant field of study, with the following knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Power BI focused on Data analytics and data modelling.
  • Knowledge about database design and database Management.
  • Knowledge in DAX formulas is a pre.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
