HR People Operations Intern (Global Mobility)

The position for an Intern People Operations at Heineken is now available for a period of 6 months. In this role, you will work closely with the People Operation Specialist – Global Mobility and participate in People Operations projects.

Global mobility is part of the People function that is responsible for moving talented employees to offices in different countries. It involves every action that needs to be taken behind the scenes, from job offer to onboarding and ensuring the relocation of talent happens in a smooth manner.

Global Mobility is at the core of HEINEKEN’s HR strategy, and our Global Mobility programmes have been pivotal to business growth and success.

 

Your responsibilities

· Support the People Operations Specialist – Global Mobility in their day to day activities

· Partner closely with the Global Mobility Specialist to provide operational support to international employees, HR, and service providers’ inquiries around International Assignment and foreign hire processes, policy and issues.

· Collaborate with the broader people operation team to ensure accurate employment documentation and payroll, as well as data integrity and a seamless and compliant mobility experience to our assignees/international hires.

· Help ensure that all international employees are taken care of and are offered high-quality support and services.

· Collaborate with internal and external Global Mobility service providers

· Support with financial activities such as reviewing invoices from external service providers, prepare cost estimates of upcoming assignments etc.

· Maintaining HR analytics dashboard

· Contribute to multiple projects and operational activities

 

Your working environment

This role is based in Amsterdam, although you will be able to work partly remote. The team of People Operations consists of around 30 professionals. You will be part of a team of HR People Operations Specialists.

The team is working according to a service model based on the employee journey (hire to retire) and services active employees working in six different entities and also servicing the Heineken pensionfund.

You will be working in a high pace, divers working environment with a specialized team.

 

 

Your profile

· You must be >18 years old and must be enrolled at European university HBO/WO level in a relevant field of study, such as HR, organizational development, or business administration etc. for the entire duration of the internship.

· In case of a non-EU nationality, you must be enrolled at a Dutch university and therefore have a legitimate work permit with student status which will not expire during the duration of the internship.

· You are available for 6 months, 4-5 days per week;

· Fluent in English and Dutch (preferred).

 

The ideal candidate also has/is:

  • A self-starter, think creatively, is curious by nature, and work independently to resolve issues.
  • A pragmatic person with a can-do and hands-on mentality;
  • An analytical thinker and works accurately;
  • Interest in an international environment and affinity to the global mobility realm
  • Excellent communication skills: written, spoken and interpersonal;
  • A basic knowledge of local and international tax, social security, and labour legislation is a plus
