Internship – HR Data Analyst

The internship –

HEINEKEN is on a journey to become the best-connected brewery in the world.  This ambition is supported by a program to be more digital and to ensure that our people managers and HR professionals have access to the right information to make data driven decisions.  Within the People Function we are investing in centralized cloud infrastructure to ensure we have our people data at our fingertips.    Having data from around the world centralised in our warehouse allows us to embark on People Analytics on a global scale.

In this internship you will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing queries raised and understanding the root cause by performing analysis on data transformations applied along the ETL processes.  When queries are raised regarding reporting, we aim to deliver a swift review, resolution (if applicable) and feedback to our business stakeholders.  SAP SuccessFactors is our primary source of data, but we also deploy Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse to warehouse, transform and prepare data.   Power BI serves as our reporting tool.
  • Interacting with our regional and global people function colleagues to understand and capture their feedback and requirements.  Our business is dynamic so new queries arise regularly.  New requirements have to be evaluated in terms of the value they will deliver, and the complexity of the changes required before they are prioritised and implemented.
  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing our data security and data governance structures.  Protecting the privacy of our people data is of the utmost importance and you will gain exposure on how we govern access management.
  • Support on progressing our People Analytics use cases.

During your internship, you will be gaining experience working with modern cloud-based infrastructure with support from knowledgeable colleagues.  You will have freedom to contribute ideas that can shape decision making and contribute to solutions that from part of our permanent solutions.
