The internship

Join our team at HEINEKEN's Global Talent & Leadership department, located at our headquarters in Amsterdam. As part of our global talent acquisition team, you will play an essential role in launching our brand new Global Graduate Program. This ambitious initiative aims to attract high calibre graduates from across the world, nurturing their development to accelerate their journey towards senior management roles within HEINEKEN.

 

Main responsibilities & projects

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Global Graduate Program, ensuring alignment with company objectives and values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design training modules, mentorship programs, and career development tracks tailored to the needs of the graduates.
  • Contributing to the design of the program's curriculum and selection criteria.
  • Developing marketing strategies to promote the Global Graduate Program globally.
  • Creating and analyzing surveys to gather feedback for program improvement.

The department

As an intern you'll be an integral part of the Global TA team focused on strategic talent acquisition initiatives. In addition to supporting the launch of our Global Graduate Program, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues from HR, Corporate affairs, and Learning & Development departments. This collaborative environment extends beyond the Graduate Program, as you'll also contribute to other projects such as global talent attraction and employer branding efforts aimed at supporting HEINEKEN operating companies worldwide. Working closely together as a team, you'll have the opportunity to engage with senior management and stakeholders, gathering insights to ensure program alignment with organizational goals.


The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is preferably in May 2024
  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • It is a practice-oriented internship (it’s also possible to combine with writing your thesis)
  • You will be based in Amsterdam
  • Hybride way of working (approximately 3 days in the office and 2 from home)
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500  gross pm based on 40 hours per week
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The unique you

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree program in HR, (international)Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for talent acquisition and development.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
