The internship

Are you eager to explore innovation in a global setting? Join the Global Innovation & Beer Systems team at HEINEKEN and help shape the future of beer and beyond. This internship will give you a broad understanding of how a global organization empowers local markets to innovate.

You’ll be involved in a wide range of activities including analytical tasks, internal communication support, platform and portfolio coordination, and global stakeholder engagement. Your work will directly support the operating companies of HEINEKEN through tools, platforms, and systems that enable innovation.

You will work closely with colleagues across departments and regions, in a team that values entrepreneurial thinking, structure, and fresh perspectives.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course, always with the guidance that is right for you.

The department

You will report to the Director Innovation and Beer Systems, and you will be positioned at the Global office in Amsterdam. The team consists of people with different nationalities who all share the same passion and drive for innovation and success.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 September 2025
• The internship is fulltime
• The duration of the internship is 6 months
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in Amsterdam
• During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup
• You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The unique you!

We are looking for a proactive, collaborative, and curious person who is eager to contribute to global innovation initiatives. You are enrolled in a university throughout the entire period of the internship and have a strong interest in how strategy, systems, and creativity come together to drive innovation. You’re structured, communicative, and enjoy working across functions and cultures.

We believe that everyone has unique talents and are therefore looking for you!

• You are enrolled in a HBO or WO education in Business, Innovation, Marketing or a related field
• A strong command of the English language; additional languages are a plus
• You have an interest in global innovation, and enjoy working across functions and cultures
• You bring strong communication skills and an analytical mindset to support strategic projects

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
