The internship

As Global Contract Manager you will

• work closely with 11 Global Contract Managers and with representatives from our outsourced shared service center in India
• understand the different operational procurement processes both internally and with our outsourced shared service center
• put a proper structure in place for all our information and implement the change
• define a way to maintain and share this information with all relevant business stakeholders

The department

You will be part of a multicultural hands on team of 11 Global Contract Managers that provide support to 50+ Operating Companies across all regions and to all Global Buyers in our full scope of global sourcing categories. We also have an outsourced back office in India of more than 50 people with whom we work very closely. With our activities we really touch on all the basics in Global Procurement.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 February 2025
• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in The Base at Schiphol
• You will receive an internship fee of €650 (wo & hbo) per month based on fulltime
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

• HBO or WO education
• A team player, focused on solutions and results, with great communication skills
• Core competencies for this internship are: communication skills, plan & organise, persuasiveness and flexibility

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
