The internship

In this internship you will be part of a global team responsible for bringing to live the new HEINEKEN Behaviours and a significant shift in our company culture. Specifically, you will support the work on a new leadership talent and development curriculum that enable leaders to bring to live such Behaviours in themselves and their teams as well as to deliver our new EverGreen company strategy.

During the internships you will have as core responsibilities:

  • Global oversight and coordination of different programmes in leadership curriculum, including regional tracks from a logistics perspective
  • Coordinate and support work of global and regional deployment teams from HEINEKEN and external provider(s) side
  • Work closely with senior resource, organise and manage logistics/coordination of assessments, invoicing and quarterly review meetings between HEINEKEN and provider(s) and any follow up actions


You will also have the following support responsibilities:

  • Facilitate idea generation and best practice sharing (formal and informal Learn-Share-Reapply) amongst programme deployment teams
  • Coordinate and generate insights from post-session and post-course evaluation work and feedback calls with participants, deployment teams and providers


The department

In this internship you will join our Culture & Leadership team which is part of the Global Talent & Leadership Centre of Expertise (CoE) within People/HR function. Our team is dynamic and comprises people from different countries and backgrounds. You will be supervised, coached and mentored by the Global Leadership Development Academy Lead who is responsible for the redesign and deployment of a new HEINEKEN-wide integrated leadership and talent development curriculum. You stakeholders will include the wider Global Talent & Leadership team as well as global Functions and regional and local teams – and the design and deployment teams of these programmes on the provider side.

The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is 1 September 2022
  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • You are registered at an educational institution
  • It is a practice-oriented internship
  • You will be based in our global Head Office in Amsterdam
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500 (HBO/WO)
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

  • Preferably you have a Bachelor or Master-level studies in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Economics or Business
  • Awareness and passion for Human Resources topics and trends impacting the future of leadership and the future of the workplace, work and workers
  • Ability to coordinate different tasks and the work of others (often more senior to you), analyse and support detailed data and processes
