The internship

Are you a (graduate) student, passionate about digital innovation and looking for an experience in an international environment?

The Global Digital & Technology department of HEINEKEN is currently working on a number of key initiatives focused on connecting our on trade with the latest technology on the way to achieving our goal of becoming the best connected brewer.

We are looking for support in supporting the operations of our team. During this internship you will be responsible for: 

• Supporting the Connected Outlet as part of a global initaitve focused on a diverse range of use cases.
• Engaging with start-ups to find an experiment with emeriging sensor and consumer technologies in the on-trade and events.
• Drive an iterative approach to experimentation with a diverse range of markets within HEINEKEN.

The department

The Global Digital & Technology department is looking for support in the Digital Product & Innovation team. The purpose of this team is to create a better everyday life for our consumers, customers, partners and colleagues. We aim to leverage digital technologies to turn ideas into valuable products for HEINEKEN, and with this, accelerate our journey to become the best-connected brewer.

The terms of employment

• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in Amsterdam
• Working arrangement is hybrid split between office & home
• You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

You are a student in a relevant field of study and you have the following: 

• Strong in (intercultural) communications  
• Experience with organizing a community of people  

• Exceptional team player capability and eagerness to learn, share knowledge 
• Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal   
• Ability to think creatively and present complex info in a simple manner 
• Ability to work independently  
• Good sense of humour

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
