The internship

During this internship, you will become a full-fledged team member of the Business Support team at Heineken Global Procurement (HGP). We will leverage your enthusiasm for learning and digital skills, and you can expect us to enhance your abilities in two key areas of the job: working with stakeholders and calendar management. Of course, there is also room to complete your assignment.

The department

We are a small team supporting the Heineken Global Procurement Leadership Team (HGP LT). Our primary focus is on building collaborative relationships in the internal and external teams. We are adaptable to various work arrangements, skilled at planning and prioritizing tasks, excel in coordinating activities, and are committed providing excellent customer service. Continuous improvement is at the heart of what we do.

In addition to supporting the HGP LT, we collaborate with Business Support Specialists from other departments in various workstream and project groups. Our aim is to optimize processes across Heineken and for the broader Business Support Community.  This includes:

• On-Boarding
• Travel
• Financial processes
• Sustainability
• Facilities

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 September 2024 (or by mutual agreement).
• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible).
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor).
• It is a collaborative internship.
• You will be based in Schiphol (The Base D).
• We work hybrid (3 to 2 is standard, always in consultation).
• You will receive an internship fee of €500 gross pm based on 40 hours per week.
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime).
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed.

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

• Be currently enrolled in an HBO or WO study program.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in people, processes and making improvements.
• Be comfortable working independently while also enjoying collaborative teamwork.
• Actively seek assistance when needed, enjoy being creative and keep an eye out for opportunities.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
