6-12 months internship to support the development of a learning academy

Are you a student passionate about communication and visualisation and able to translate accounting matters into easy-to-understand language?

Do you want to shape learning resources in an international environment?

 

In this internship you will be part of the Reporting & Accounting Policies team (RAP team). The RAP team is responsible for the consolidated financial statements of HEINEKEN, the IFRS based accounting policies within HEINEKEN and training on these accounting policies. As part of the training curriculum, we are developing an accounting policies academy (e-learning platform) for operating companies worldwide. The core purpose of this academy is to give the accounting teams around the world self-learning possibility on HEINEKEN accounting policies.

 

We need you to complement our team by supporting us on developing and rolling out this accounting policies academy, showing a creative mindset. You will get insights in the accounting policies applied in HEINEKEN and capability development in a multinational company, with exposure to different shareholders. Our goal is to get you to learn as much as you can and develop yourself professionally while you work with all of us in the RAP team.

 

The internship is based in Amsterdam headquarters and will begin as soon as possible. Your work week will be 3 days, for a duration of at least 6 months.

 

Your responsibilities:

• Support the RAP team in developing the accounting policies academy, which includes

       o Storyline creation: You will support the RAP team by creating and visualising the storyline for the necessary learning materials

       o Content creation: You will drive creating and visualising the learning materials in the academy (the accounting content will be provided by the team members)

• Lead the testing of the academy with different stakeholders

• Support in project management activities

Your profile

For this role we are looking for someone with a creative mindset who is passionate about translating and visualising complex accounting matters into easy-to-understand language. Additionally, you are interested in learning and educational techniques.

 

You would be a good fit if you:

• are enrolled in a Bachelor (final stage) or Master programme related to accounting;

• have the ability to prioritise and to work in a structured way on projects and individually;

• are an exceptional team player and have the eagerness to learn and share knowledge;

• are proficient in English (written and spoken);

• bring a can-do mentality;

• can quickly adapt to working with new tools and software;

• have IFRS knowledge;
