The internship

If you love to work in a dynamic environment that provides challenges and learning opportunities this if for you, because to become the best-connected brewer, we are transforming the way we work with one set of business process connected through a single ERP and this requires lot of flexibility.

The Learning and development intern will help develop the training approach for deployment teams.

  • Provide training, support, tips, and tricks on how to use the system.
  • Record & annotate transactions together with Leads and Business analyst
  • Support the process integration and connection between ERP and platforms
  • Help our teams to store and link transactions recorded in one single source of information
  • Provide feedback on how to improve speed
  • Report progress on assigned activites

Our trainee will be part of learning & development team and will be working very close with diferent stakeholders like Process Leads, Business Analyst, Platform’s owners and external stakeholders.


Should be someone with full time availability for 6 months, also someone that loves to connect with people in diferent levels and learn about new technologies.

The department


At the CORE programme want to become the best-connected brewer: digitally transforming our Route to Consumer whilst simplifying and modernizing our IT landscape and streamlining End2End processes. The CORE program will harmonize Heineken's fragmented ERP* and data landscape and make us future-ready to better serve our customers and consumers. The CORE team will work along with all regions Globally to realize this ambitious plan.


Learning & Development is part of HR, Change and Comms team for CORE program. We are a multicultural team that loves to make things happen and have the challenge to deliver one integrated learning journey to guarantee end user proficiency together with more than 40 stakeholders and in more than 80 countries. 

The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is 1 February 2023
  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • It is a practice-oriented internship
  • You will be based in Amsterdam
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500 (wo & hbo) or €400 (mbo) gross pm based on fulltime
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed


The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
