The internship

  • You will work closely with our Change and Communications Lead to work on internal engagement and communication, building a strong programme brand across the HEINEKEN world.

  • You will help find stories in the programme about progress and activities that are worth sharing with the team and our stakeholders.

  • You will also be link up with the Regional Deployment teams, to help you understand what the impact of the programme is around the globe

  • You will be able to connect with different countries and experience cultures and ensure we communicate in a way that resonates around the world.

  • You will be part of the HR, Change & Comms team, where you will learn how we support our teams in the CORE programme to perform the best they can internally and with the Operating Companies (OpCos) we are working with.

The department


At the CORE programme want to become the best-connected brewer: digitally transforming our Route to Consumer whilst simplifying and modernizing our IT landscape and streamlining End2End processes. The CORE program will harmonize Heineken's fragmented ERP* and data landscape and make us future-ready to better serve our customers and consumers. The CORE team will work along with all regions Globally to realize this ambitious plan.

The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is 1 February 2023

  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)

  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)

  • You are registered at a Dutch educational institution

  • It is a practice-oriented internship

  • You will be based in our office at the Stadhouderskade, Amserdam

  • You will receive an internship fee of €500

  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)

  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed


The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

  • You are eager to learn more about internal communications and change management



Conditions of HEINEKEN


  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.

    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.

    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.

  2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing
