Head of Global Maintenance & Asset Care
As Global Head Maintenance & Asset Care, you will lead the transformation and long-term development of HEINEKEN’s global maintenance strategy. This is a critical leadership role, connecting our global and regional ambitions to excellence, ensuring that our breweries and production sites operate at world-class levels of reliability, efficiency and sustainability.
You will be responsible for shaping the future of maintenance & assets across HEINEKEN, aligning strategies across regions and further building a globally connected network that champions innovation, cost-effectiveness and capability development.
Key responsibilities

- With your vision and passion, you bring our global maintenance strategy to life in a way that’s practical and inspiring. You will be working with ~4000 professionals, connecting them through Hubs, Centres of Expertise and Communities of Practice.
- You set the course for the long haul – crafting and leading our Global Asset Care Strategy, fully synced with our end-to-end Global Supply Chain ambitions.
- You further shape capability building with energy– creating tools, models and playbooks that are used and supporting roll-out across Regions and OpCo’s.
- Act as functional owner for Maintenance processes and systems, ensuring global consistency and value delivery.
- You’re leading the TPM Planned Maintenance Pillar, setting standards to minimize asset losses and securing operational sustainability.
- Data is your playground – you’ll take charge of global maintenance dashboards, KPI’s, models and benchmarking tools.
- And finally, you contribute as a member of the Global Production Management Team, influencing broader production strategy and transformation agenda.
What you bring
- Proven track record in leading maintenance across multiple international sites in a complex manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Experience developing and implementing global strategies and standards, with strong regional and operational alignment.
- Strategic mindset with deep functional expertise in maintenance, TPM and Maintenance Management Systems.
- Strong leadership and change management skills
- You feel comfortable leading through networks, building global communities and fostering knowledge sharing and innovation
- Willing to relocate, as this role is based at our Amsterdam (Schiphol) office.
