About the role


As a Global Security Coordinator, you play a crucial operational role in safeguarding HEINEKEN’s executives. You plan, coordinate, and execute security operations worldwide,  including protective assignments in medium and high‑risk countries. You are the trusted link between stakeholders, local partners, and the Protection & Support team, ensuring that all deployments are carried out professionally, discreetly, and with unwavering attention to detail.



Key responsibilities:

Close protection & operational execution

  • Plan, organize, and carry out protective security operations for VIPs , both domestically and abroad.
  • Execute security duties during international assignments, including deployments in medium and high‑risk environments.
  • Conduct surveillance, threat assessments, and situational monitoring during events, travel, and site visits.

Stakeholder management & liaison work

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive staff & executives , local authorities, police units, private security firms, and international partners.
  • Communicate confidently and assertively, able to influence, advise, and stand firm when security decisions must be upheld.
  • Establish and maintain local security networks and ensure reliable on‑ground intelligence.

Training & capability development

  • Deliver high‑standard security trainings and workshops to internal teams, guests, and partners.
  • Develop new training formats based on organizational needs and evolving risk scenarios.

Planning, reporting & logistics

  • Deliver accurate operational plans and mission reports before and after deployments.
  • Coordinate security execution at high‑visibility HEINEKEN events, ensuring the safety of people, assets, and reputation.
  • Support Protection & Support and Global Security Advisors in liaising, planning, or coordinating complex security operations.

 



What you bring

Experience & expertise

  • Education: Bachelor level (minimum MBO4 degree)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in police, military, intelligence, personal security, or corporate protection.
  • Proven experience in close protection, operational security, and delivering trainings.
  • Familiarity with event security, risk assessments, and operating in dynamic or high‑pressure environments.

Skills & mindset

  • Strong communicator: able to brief, advise, and influence senior stakeholders with confidence.
  • High level of situational awareness, risk assessment capability, and operational discipline.
  • Able to stand your ground, make firm decisions, and act with integrity under pressure.
  • Strong team player who collaborates naturally but can operate independently when required.
  • Flexible, accurate, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working irregular hours and traveling internationally.
  • Digital proficiency (secure communications, reporting tools, basic tech systems).

  • Professional presence, discretion, and strong ethical standards.
  • Adaptable, solution‑oriented, and able to remain calm in rapidly changing situations.
