Location: Amsterdam, with a mix of office and home working.

What will you do as an Integrated Communications Lead? 

As the Global Executive & Employee Communication Lead Commerce, you will lead and drive a comprehensive, integrated communication strategy for HEINEKEN's Commercial Function. This role involves delivering exceptional employee and media engagement, as well as innovative storytelling both internally and externally. You will build and maintain a robust network of internal and external stakeholders to support communication for large-scale transformation projects. This position is part of the Global Corporate Affairs team within HEINEKEN’s Global Communications department reporting to the Head of Executive & Employee Communications.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute a holistic communication strategy that aligns with HEINEKEN's business objectives and enhances the company's reputation. 

• Serve as a business partner to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), advising at a senior level and contributing to company and functional strategies. 

• Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 

• Advise on a variety of business topics, including sensitive issues, and lead communication for large-scale transformation and change agendas. 

• Bring brand campaigns to life internally in inspiring ways for the business. 

• Distill and create compelling narratives that simplify complex business priorities and drive engagement. 

• Manage the external profile of the CCO and GCLT, including speaking opportunities and (social) media channels. 

• Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage digital communication tools to innovate and enhance communication efforts.

• 15+ years of experience in leading and implementing communications, PR, or marketing strategies on complex topics, tailored to specific audiences. 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and inspiring narratives. 

• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. 

• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and unify different priorities. 

• Expertise in driving impactful employee engagement and earned media strategies. 

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. 

• Proficiency in digital communication tools and a keen interest in exploring innovative communication formats. 

• Fluency in English.
