Are you ready to elevate brand impact at the point of sale? We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Category Manager – Customer Marketing, a strategic procurement role critical to enabling our brands to shine where it matters most: in front of consumers.
As part of the Global Procurement team, you will work closely with our brand, trade marketing, and sales teams (both global and local), to contribute to our commercial agenda by ensuring best-in-class execution in the marketplace. Whether on trade or off trade, your role will be key to bringing the most relevant materials to market—fast, smart, and cost-efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Regional Portfolio Development (40%)
- Collaborate with regional commercial teams and brand stakeholders to co-develop relevant point-of-sale (POS) portfolios tailored to brand positioning (mainstream vs. premium), channel requirements, and shopper needs.
- Identify synergies across markets to optimise cost, reduce waste, and streamline logistics (e.g., harmonised deliveries, inventory management).
- Support key initiatives with strategic sourcing input and execution expertise.
Commercial Excellence & Innovation (40%)
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal commercial conditions, including pricing, lead time, service levels, and innovation access.
- Develop meaningful partnerships with key suppliers to enable continuous innovation and external inspiration (“bringing the outside in”) that fuels commercial growth and shopper engagement.
- Stay attuned to market trends and emerging solutions in shopper marketing, activation, and execution.
Supplier Relationship Management (20%)
- Establish and maintain robust supplier governance, aligning both global and local stakeholders for consistency and transparency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensure savings delivery, and oversee performance management.
- Implement frameworks for measuring supplier contributions to commercial effectiveness and innovation.

What You Bring
- Education: University degree.
- Experience: 6+ years in Procurement or Commercial functions (e.g., trade marketing, category management), ideally within FMCG and/or a matrixed international environment.
- Functional Skills: Expertise in strategic sourcing, trade marketing materials, commercial negotiations, supplier relationship management, and innovation sourcing.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus.
