What will you do as a Financial Reporting Specialist?

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for regional management and operating companies on IFRS and accounting-related questions. You'll collaborate with other global functions such as Treasury, Tax, Business Control, Global Audit, and Business Development, providing expertise on IFRS, accounting, and reporting matters.

Your responsibilities include reviewing the quality of OpCo submissions, addressing and documenting complex accounting questions, supporting M&A accounting, maintaining and developing Heineken accounting policies, and contributing to the preparation of consolidated half-year and year-end financial statements.

You will also help develop communications and training materials to support the global accounting and reporting function. This role reports to the Manager of Reporting and Accounting Policies and is based in our Amsterdam Head Office.

 

Are you the Financial Reporting Specialist who completes our team?

We are looking for someone with strong IFRS expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and simply. You thrive in an international environment, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and are eager to learn and grow.

You're likely to recognize yourself in the following:

5-7 years of relevant work experience, with exposure to IFRS and complex accounting issues.

A university degree in accounting, economics, or similar. A postgraduate qualification (RA/CA/ACCA or equivalent) is preferred.

Strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.

Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
