Brand PR plays an integral role in authentically connecting our brand’s stories with consumers. It is viewed as an essential contributor in the integrated teams that are created to land our industry leading and culturally impactful stories. The Global Brand PR Manager serves as a Corporate Affairs business partner to commerce and brand teams and is tasked with further elevating brands’ share of voice and protecting reputation externally and internally.

This particular role will have a focus on supporting the innovation narrative through the 5 global brands (Heineken, Birra Moretti, Desperados, Tiger, Amstel). This role will work closely with the Innovation team and coinciding brand teams to determine strategic plans for when, how, and why innovations are introduced and managed through communications.
The role will also support Heineken brand specific PR work streams as necessary, to satisfy the horizontal PR team’s support needs across the business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create and implement strategic and creative integrated storytelling programmes to support our brands through earned media & influencers
- Serve as a Corporate Affairs business partner to commerce and brand teams
- Create external platforms around brand initiatives (Global campaign launches; Sponsorships & Global Ambassadors; Music platforms and festivals; brand purpose; Category building; Product launches & innovations). This role will also be responsible for facilitating internal communications in partnership with CA colleagues.
- Manage relationships and demands of multiple internal and external stakeholders (senior reporters, global chiefs, senior leaders, agency partners, etc.)
- Engage with marketing and brand managers on global teams and in OpCo
- Work with various agency partners as part of the integrated team
- Hands-on experience with technologies and creative approaches to engage influencers, media, and consumers
- Outstanding communication skills to inspire and lead colleagues and agency partners
- Well-developed project management skills, stress resistance, and strong work ethic
- Advocate new ideas with self-confidence and gravitas
Experience & profile (what & how):
What:
▪ Education: University level
▪ Work experience: 8–10 years in similar roles (consumer brands, PR agency); storytelling, social media expertise, stakeholder engagement, influencing
▪ Functional skills: Brand building knowledge; Hands-on with technologies and best practices to engage influencers, media and consumers; Outstanding written, spoken and interpersonal communication; Persuasive advocacy; Project management; Resilience; Strong work ethic
▪ Languages: Fluent in English
