CSRD Financial Reporting Specialist - Environment

Your role

In this role you will be responsible to setup the global Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directives (“CSRD”) reporting process. You will be focussing on the implementation and reporting of the CSRD environmental related KPIs, ensuring compliance with the external reporting requirements of CSRD, applicable as of 2024.

You will work with various functions within Heineken (e.g. Corporate Affairs, Supply Chain, Procurement, P&CI, Management Reporting) to implement the environmental related CSRD KPIs and the related reporting process to ensure compliance with CSRD. In this role you will cooperate in cross-functional teams on various levels (global, region and Opco).

You are responsible for:

  • designing and coordinating the implementation of the reporting for the environmental-related KPIs as defined in CSRD,
  • business partnering with other functions on implementation and setting up reporting for environmental-related CSRD KPIs,
  • providing CSRD training and instructions to OpCos,
  • developing HEINEKEN CSRD reporting policies,
  • monitoring compliance with the environmental requirements of CSRD
  • engaging with the external auditor on CSRD implementation for the environment section,
  • and form part of the CSRD team ensuring CSRD compliant disclosures in the Annual Report once CSRD has become effective.

As CSRD Reporting Specialist Environment you will report to the CSRD Reporting Manager. Your position is based in Amsterdam Head Office.


Your department

As CSRD Reporting Specialist - Environment you are part of the CSRD reporting team. The CSRD reporting team is a newly established team within the Financial & ESG reporting team. The CSRD reporting team is responsible for managing the global implementation of the CSRD reporting process and for compliance with CSRD once effective, including the required (step-up in) assurance. 


Your profile

For this role we are looking for someone who has good communication and project management skills (e.g. keeping it simple) and is strong in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, you have affinity with non-financial reporting, are accurate and have a hands-on mentality.

You would be a good fit if you:

  • have 7+ years of work experience in reporting;
  • have a finalized Master study in business economics/accounting or similar;
  • are an experienced, independent and challenging business partner, with a good understanding of business processes;
  • can communicate and cooperate well at all levels in the organization;
  • can adapt to changes in legislation and come up with pragmatic solutions
  • are experienced with Microsoft Office; and
  • are fluent in English.
