This role is part of the Digital & Technology (D&T) department of HEINEKEN International, located in the HEINEKEN Global Shared Services. D&T is committed to delivering cutting-edge innovation, strong technology, and advanced analytics to ensure HEINEKEN maintains a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.  The Data Modeler plays a key role in implementing HEINEKEN's data strategy, focusing on harmonising and standardising data handling across the enterprise.

Have you ever wondered how all HEINEKEN systems “understand” the same Customer, Material, or Sales Order? This is a unique opportunity to join the team that defines this common data language!

In Digital & Technology (D&T), we maintain the Enterprise Data Model — a structured foundation that connects HEINEKEN platforms, ensuring that systems integrate consistently and that business data has the same meaning across the whole organization. This role is a development opportunity for data-driven professionals who want to move closer to enterprise IT and architecture.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • developing logical data models across business domains and systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • helping to shape how business data objects (e.g., Customer, Material, Sales Invoice) are structured across systems
  • ensuring models are aligned with established standards and actively contribute to the evolution of modeling guidelines
  • translating integration and process requirements into clear, consistent data definitions, supporting harmonization of data across the enterprise
  • collaborating with architects, engineers, and analysts to ensure models are scalable, reusable and accurate

You are a good candidate if you have:
  • 3-5 years of experience in data modeling, including hands-on creation of data models
  • Familiarity with enterprise modeling tools such as Sparx EA, ER/Studio, or ArchiMate-based platforms is an additional plus
  • understanding of relational and dimensional modeling techniques as well as how business objects relate to each other
  • experience with integrations, migrations, reporting models, or structured datasets
  • drive for analysing data and identifying inconsistencies
  • effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., business analysts, architects, developers)
  • a strong interest in growing toward IT, architecture, or digital transformation

    Nice to have:
  • basic SQL or Python knowledge

    What you gain
  • exposure to enterprise architecture
  • insight into how systems integrate at scale
  • visibility across domains and platforms
  • clear development path toward Senior Data Modeler or Architecture roles
  • data modeling experience, exposure to an international work environment and a great team of colleagues to learn and grow with.

At HEINEKEN Kraków, we take integrity and ethical conduct seriously. If someone has concerns about a possible violation of legal regulations indicated in Polish Whistleblowing Act or our Code of Business Conduct, we encourage them to speak up. Cases can be reported to global team or locally (in line with the local HGSS Whistleblowing procedure) by selecting proper option in this tool or by communicating it on hotline.
