Senior IT Operations Specialist

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze and document business requirements, working closely with Product Owners and technical teams to translate these needs into deliverable user stories and product backlogs
  • handling technical data operations, including preparing, analyzing, and validating batch files (e.g., CSV, JSON), setting variables, and automating data processes to support business functions
  • facilitating change request processes by gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing new feature requests, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility
  • managing feature deployment and oversee delivery milestones, ensuring new features and product improvements are implemented on time and meet predefined success criteria
  • performing configuration setup for new and existing product features, aligning system environments to meet specific business requirements and feature specifications and ensure that product features are configured to operate effectively across various platforms and environments, maintaining compatibility and performance
  • supporting deployment and post-launch activities, working closely with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth rollouts and resolve any technical issues
  • leading continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for system optimization and process enhancement, while promoting the adoption of new technologies and practices
  • ensuring a high-quality product backlog, actively refining, prioritizing, and managing backlog items to maintain clarity and alignment with business priorities
  • preparing and delivering training materials and user manuals as well as maintaining and updatiing configuration documentation, ensuring all changes to the system settings and environment setups are thoroughly recorded and easily accessible while ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed about product changes and new functionalities
  • configuring and integrating monitoring tools that provide real-time feedback on the status of environments, batch processes, system configurations and success criteria, ensuring that delivered solutions meet business requirements and performance expectations, while continuously gathering feedback for future enhancements
  • working with D&T Commerce products, gaining in-depth product knowledge and ensuring seamless integration of these systems into broader business processes.


You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working with established IT Operations practices in a corporate environment
  • practical knowledge and experience with of ITIL processes OR practical experience in Project Management and how to manage projects OR practical experience in Business Analysis and previous history as a Business Analyst
  • experience in executing basic technology activities, including batch files upload, running queries and configuration of applications
  • working knowledge and experience in ServiceNOW ticketing tool
  • ability to derive knowledge from different sources and maintain knowledge in aggregated and integrated way
  • excellent communication skills with proven history of working with senior stakeholders
  • problem-solving mindset
  • ability to ask for help/escalate where necessary.
