Senior Technology Specialist - PLM Lead

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • planning, designing, and implementation of PLM systems tailored to Heineken needs
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams, including D&T, Supply Chain, and other functions to define system requirements and configurations
  • streamlining and optimizing existing product development processes through the effective utilization of PLM technology
  • identifing areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and speed to market
  • overseing the management of product data within the PLM system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the product lifecycle
  • driving integration efforts to ensure seamless connectivity between the PLM system and other enterprise systems
  • ensuring assistance to users, smooth system operations and continues improvement
  • managing relationships with PLM software vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and escalation management
  • staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in PLM, evaluating their potential impact on the organization
  • communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels to articulate the benefits of PLM initiatives and address concerns
  • formulating the architecture & design based on functional and non-functional requirements, balancing the goals and constraints on the solution
  • collaborating with Domain and Enterprise Architect on the solution design to ensure it conforms to overall architectural vision and technical roadmap
  • verifying the implementation-ensuring the delivered system is consistent with the agreed architecture, and meet the requirements
  • ensuring consistency of the overall solution
  • working with the Product Owner to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application requirements
  • participating in the selection of new technologies
  • providing guidance and coaching to other product team members on changes throughout the design process
  • managing the quality of the solution and technical debt
  • identifying  potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these
  • maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices and evaluating them for applicability
  • keeping up with relevant developments in own functional area and ensuring development, transfer and retention of knowledge
  • beeing together with team members end-to-end responsible to deliver the value of a single Product through the entire Product life cycle
  • delivering working product enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero defect culture
  • developing products with innovative elements
  • helping other team members with removing impediments
  • ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements and architecture standards
  • demonstrating product features during sprint reviews to stakeholders.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • Bachelor/Master’s degre: Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics or other related studies
  • IT leader experience, with demonstrated thought leadership and influence across an organization
  • proven experience (5+ years) in implementing and managing PLM systems within the CPG or related industries
  • in-depth knowledge of PLM software platforms, such as Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA, PTC Windchill, etc.
  • strong understanding of product development processes and industry-specific challenges in CPG manufacturing
  • excellent project management skills, agile way of working, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
  • experience in managing IT vendors
  • experience in a large scale, high volume environment
  • knowledge of ISO Standards, design controls, Health & Safety, PLM and regulatory domain
  • experience with digital services solutions for the shopfloor, is a plus, such as: ERP, manufacturing and commerce systems; Continuous Improvement (TPM); Connected Worker platforms; AI and GenAI applications for PLM
  • strong understanding of technical specifics
  • ability to make decisions about which technologies are needed to develop the product
  • excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing)
  • ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
  • ability to become a business and technical consultant that is responsible for the design of the product
  • strong technical background with experience in one or more IT areas
  • team player mindset and ability to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • ability to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others
  • ability to work in teams and work dedicated for a team
  • ability to work across a broad range of business and IT-related subject-matter areas.
