UX/UI Lead Designer

As UX/UI Lead Designer, you will be integral part of the ongoing digital transformation at HEINEKEN. You’ll help shape the future of our digital products by researching, designing, and delivering user-centric solutions. Your work will directly impact both internal and external services, enhancing how our users interact with HEINEKEN’s digital platforms.

 

You will lead research, design, and execute deliverables to ensure a seamless and innovative user experience. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to meaningful design challenges within a world-class, innovative company.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • focusing on driving impact across multiple teams by ensuring seamless integration of UX/UI principles throughout the development process
  • demonstrating ownership of the entire UX maturity journey within product teams, fostering a user-centric culture and ensuring consistent, high-quality design practices are embedded across all stages of product development
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct research and gather insights through methods such as interviews, user testing, and focus groups
  • helping build a culture of research and user-centred design within the team, showcasing the power of validated design insights
  • collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineers to ensure design solutions align with strategic objectives
  • working alongside senior team members to validate early concepts and continuously iterating on designs based on research findings
  • assisting in creating user-centred designs and prototypes for both internal and external-facing products
  • applying a combination of UX research techniques (such as A/B testing, persona development, and ethnographic studies) to support design decisions
  • contributing to building and maintaining a solid set of reusable design frameworks and research tools
  • supporting the creation of clear, actionable design documentation, including wireframes, user flows, and visual design concepts
  • staying up to date with market trends when it comes to UX (tools, concepts, practices, etc). 

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • 5 + years experience in IT
  • 3 + years experience in UX/UI design for Digital Products/Services, with a focus on both research and design for web and mobile applications
  • familiarity with UX research methodologies, including A/B testing, user interviews, and usability testing
  • strong visual design skills, with attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
  • ability to present and communicate design concepts and/or research findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels
  • ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment with developers, product managers, and other designers
  • ability to balance multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • flexibility to pivot as project priorities evolve and respond to new challenges
  •  strong understanding of design principles such as alignment, contrast, hierarchy, and typography
  • basic understanding of designing for various screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile)
  • strong eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing, consistent, and user-friendly designs
  • ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple design projects simultaneously.

 

You are a perfect candidate if also you have:

 

  • a basic understanding of HTML and CSS to collaborate effectively with development teams.
  • proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools. Knowledge of prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Marvel).
