As Tribe Product Architect (PA) Cloud & Hosting you are part of the Global Cloud & Hosting Tribe, which is part of the Global Digital Infrastructure Portfolio within D&T. The Cloud & Hosting Tribe consists of two teams, the Global Cloud Product Team and the Edge Cloud Product Team.

 

As Product Architect you understand the organizational and business needs and convert them into cloud & hosting architectural decisions and specifications that can be used to put the right solutions in place. You translate these needs into the D&T Product Architecture in a way that conforms to Enterprise Architectural standards and roadmaps. The Enterprise, Domain and Product Architects in D&T shape the overall landscape together with one another, where this role focusses on the Cloud and Hosting side of the landscape.

 

As Cloud & Hosting Product Architect, you will play a vital role in defining HEINEKEN enterprise cloud strategy, improving the pathways for how applications are hosted and data is stored in an increasingly complex digital landscape, while ensuring sufficient protections, resiliency, and operational efficiency.

 

The Product Architect supports the product teams in delivery and maintenance of the Cloud & Hosting products and services and ensures alignment with the business and IT strategy. The Cloud & Hosting Tribe reports into the Digital Infrastructure global portfolio. Apart from the Cloud & Hosting Tribe, also the Connectivity Tribe, the Digital Workplace Tribe, the Software Asset Management Competence Centre and the Field Services & Head Office IT Competence Center report into the Digital Infrastructure Portfolio.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • designing end-to-end cloud solutions that are aligning with enterprise goals

  • defining reference architectures, best practices, and reusable components

  • choosing the right mix of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (public, private, hybrid, multi-cloud)

  • developing and enforcing global cloud strategy, standards, and policies

  • ensuring compliance with local and international regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, data sovereignty)

  • standardizing cloud practices across regions and OPCOs

  • co-owning the roadmap and strategy with the Tribe Lead and Product Owners

  • designing cloud architectures that are scalable, resilient, and performant across geographies

  • addressing latency, availability zones, data replication, and disaster recovery

  • collaborating with regional teams to implement global solutions tailored to local needs

  • ensuring cloud solutions are meeting the organization's security and compliance requirements

  • designing secure access controls, encryption, and identity management solutions

  • working closely with cybersecurity teams to monitor and mitigate risks

  • acting as a liaison between Global Functions, regional IT teams, and cloud vendors

  • translating business requirements into cloud architectures

  • presenting architecture designs and roadmaps to executives and stakeholders

  • designing cost-effective cloud architectures

  • monitoring and optimizing cloud spend across the organization

  • implementing governance tools and processes to control cloud usage and budget

  • staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends (e.g., AI/ML, serverless, edge computing)

  • evaluating new tools, platforms, and services for potential adoption

  • driving innovation through proof of concepts and pilot projects

  • leading large-scale migrations from on-prem to cloud or between cloud providers

  • developing cloud adoption frameworks and roadmaps

  • guiding application modernization, containerization, and use of microservices

  • maintaining architecture blueprints, decision logs, and design documents

  • training and mentoring regional architects and engineering teams

  • promoting knowledge sharing and architectural consistency across the enterprise

  • managing relationships with cloud providers (e.g., T-Systems, AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • evaluating third-party tools, platforms, and managed service providers.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a cloud architecture role
  • deep expertise in public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

  • strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • experience with container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)

  • understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools

  • security architecture, identity management, and compliance standards

  • proven experience designing and deploying global-scale cloud solutions

  • experience working in complex, regulated, and multi-region environments

  • strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • excellent communication, presentation, and documentation abilities

  • ability to work cross-culturally and across time zones

  • experience in global rollouts or multi-national organizations

  • knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies

  • hands-on experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)

  • cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect)

  • TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certification (preferred)

  • excellent written and verbal English.
