Transport Process Specialist

Activities:

  • Process improvements:
    • Actively work with OpCos, Global functional owners and HGSS in creating and executing a continuous improvement agenda
    • Support the TM Hub Transport Planning & Execution team identifying and addressing improvement opportunities
    • Drive harmonization of processes across OpCos, mapping local constraints to be removed (while ensuring compliance)
    • Evaluate and analyze transportation processes and define an ongoing approach for process improvements
    • Perform and conduct root cause analysis; define required actions and follow up of the initiatives
    • Generate, maintain and update documentation on improvements actions
  • Transportation Data Analysis and Reporting, to follow up on savings and opportunities identified:
    • Analyze transport cost and efficiency, in order to find additional saving opportunity potential with the target to meet/exceed business case expectations
    • Improvement of reporting dashboards, as well as perform trainings to the required stakeholders
    • Explore and test new reporting requirements
    • Monitor and analyze business evolution/trends in order to support timely decision making
  • Super User:
    • Coordinate improvements and change requests for Oracle Transportation Management (single point of contact with Global owner of the solution)
    • Coordinate improvements and change requests for the workflow tool One2Improve (single point of contact with Global owner of the solution)
    • Maintain / adjust OTM configuration parameters (which will not be part of the standard support from the Oracle team)
    • Be able to deploy/define automation solutions/initiatives in order to improve efficiency or quality of the work done
    • Guide users in the resolution of issues and questions
    • Perform training sessions and maintain training materials
    • Coordinate system improvement requirements/initiatives
    • Monitor system hygiene

 

Professional skills:

  • 4-5 years experience in Supply Chain, Project Management and previous Business Case Savings capture Implementation
  • Relevant experience in implementing improvement initiatives, Lean Six Sigma, etc will be a plus
  • Deep Professional Transportation knowledge and Supply Chain Management skills
  • Proficient in English. Other languages will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical and business oriented
  • Negotiation and interpersonal skills, for people management
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Expert in office tools. Knowledge of software such as Power BI (or similar BI tool), SAP or TMS will be a plus
  • Bachelors/Master Degree
