Transport Planner with Romanian

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • partnering effectively with external customers and internal supply chain organization, customer service and supply planning organization with focus on increased value and benefit realization
  • primary day-to-day contact with carriers, specifically around issues and exception management
  • communicating with customer sites about changes in deliveries (two-ways)
  • assisting the operating company customer services with special requests for time definite deliveries and/or shipment-based transport selections
  • daily execution of transportation planning activities including load consolidation, mode shift, and optimization of transportation routes
  • managing any unrouteable issue during the optimization process within the timelines expected; managing booking and execution of transportation loads
  • monitoring status updates from carriers (in-transit, appointment, delivered etc.) and proactively communicating and resolves transportation exceptions
     

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • excellent written and verbal Romanian & English.
  • trong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
  • ability to work in a team,
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Logistics, or related field
  • understanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes and business policies, min 1 year experience in Supply Chain
  • ability to manage and meet deadlines and multi-task daily activities

 

Location: Kraków, Poland
Working Hours: The position involves working in 8 hour shifts between 7 AM and 9 PM.
