Transport Planner with French
Your responsibilities would include:
- acting decisively and engaging effectively with key stakeholders
- partnering effectively with external customers and internal supply chain organization, customer service and supply planning organization with focus on increased value and benefit realization
- primary day-to-day contact with carriers, specifically around issues and exception management
- communicating with customer sites about changes in deliveries (two-ways)
- assisting the OpCo customer services with special requests for time definite deliveries and/or shipment-based transport selections
- daily execution of transportation planning activities including load consolidation, mode shift, and optimization of transportation routes
- managing any unrouteable issue during the optimization process within the timelines expected
- managing booking and execution of transportation loads
- monitoring status updates from carriers (in-transit, appointment, delivered etc.) and proactively communicating and resolves transportation exceptions
- continuously seeking out opportunities to improve current processes
- proactive advising about improvements on transport planning scope, i.e. exclusion of lanes, simulation of new scenarios
You are a good candidate if:
- you have Bachelor Degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Logistics, or related field
- you have good understanding/experience with OTM (Oracle Transportation Management tool)
- you have understanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes and business policies
- you have ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
- you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- you have ability to manage and meet deadlines and multi-task daily activities
- you have professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- you have proficiency with Microsoft Office
- you have excellent written and verbal English and French
Nice to have:
- University Degree in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
- FMCG/AlcoBev industry experience
- additional languages are required for part of the Planning & Execution Analysts
- proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
