Tender Manager Lead

In this role you will be leading the team responsible for the full e-Sourcing activity and usage of the HGP Toolkit for the entire HEINEKEN Global Procurement Community. You will be managing the operational e-Sourcing service to the HGP Central teams and regional teams. 


Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • Defining and translating the e-Sourcing strategy set by Local and Global Procurement into a comprehensive operational roadmap. 
  • Driving execution in partnership with Tender Managers and Shared Services centre, ensuring alignment with broader procurement objectives and business priorities.
  • Leading and developing the Local and Shared Service Center teams responsible for all global e-Sourcing activities. 
  • Driving the increase in e-Sourcing spend by the Local & Global Procurement Teams. 
  • Leading strategic HGP e-sourcing events. 
  • Maintaining and improving our core procurement E-Sourcing capability for maximum value. 
  • Owning and managing the team’s budget while overseeing strategic HGP e-Sourcing initiatives.Ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve efficiency and value creation.
  • Building and sustaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including senior stakeholders across HGP Category Teams, OpCo Procurement, Shared Services, and Technology partners. 
  • Supporting the functional people agenda and ensuring that there is a continued talent pipeline and clear succession planning to facilitate the long-term success of the Tender Desk.
  • Acting as the enterprise-wide Subject Matter Expert (SME) for e-Sourcing, providing deep technical and strategic insight into tools and processes on the e-Sourcing tools. 
  • Maintaining a holistic understanding of how e-Sourcing integrates with the broader HGP Toolkit.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • University Master’s Degree in a business, financial, commercial, economic or technical discipline
  • 8+ years of work experience
  • Experience in e-Sourcing/Tender role in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated team leadership & change management expertise in a multi-cultural environment
  • Experience with Procurement e-Sourcing systems (Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO), Zycus iSource, etc.), Microsoft Office 
  • Fluent English (C1)
  • A result-driven mentality and ability to identify and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Great interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to manage intercultural relationships with stakeholders from all levels and ability to adjust the communication style accordingly.
  • Ability to drive change & continuous improvement in a decentralized environment. 
  • Ability to focus on both details as well as the bigger picture. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/ situations at any one time and working under time pressure periodically. 
  • Ability to take care of training & supporting people to grow
