Technology Specialist - Product Architect (CIAM)

This role is part of the Global Digital & Technology department of HEINEKEN International and is located in Krakow. Your purpose will be to set up and configure the selected CIAM solution E2E to cater to business needs in order to manage the digital identity and access of customers and consumers for the global HEINEKEN organization and operating companies.

As a Product Architect, you immerse yourself in a collaborative agile squad of B2B and B2C product architects and Marketing Technology geeks.

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • taking ownership and establishing the position of CIAM as a microservice to cater our B2B eCommerce platforms and B2C consumer initiatives
  • giving direction/driving the conversation on how the CIAM identity is supposed to be used throughout the HEINEKEN landscape - across systems (i.e. how is the identity creation triggered in CIAM and how will it move to other systems incl. facilitating the execution of this)
  • becoming the worldwide SPOC for CIAM and being responsible for transitioning from a monolithic customer and consumer data architecture to a composable microservice architecture powered by CIAM for customer and consumer data
  • independently setting up, implementing, rollouting and ensuring operations of CIAM to HEINEKEN operating companies working directly with the CIAM vendor (cidaas), without external/agency support.
  • planning and executing the transition of the current consumer data storage solution from Azure to CIAM, to store identities of consumers and phase out Azure
  • during consumer data storage transition period, owning the Azure Data Lake solution, currently catering to Operating Companies to ingest, store and process consumer data for upstream activation technologies
  • designing the implementation to be scalable and adaptable to future growth and changes in the marketing and regulatory landscape
  • forging relationships globally to enhance solution maturity, both technically and business-wise
  • ensuring compliance, with international data protection regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant standards by collaborating with legal and privacy departments all over the world, to integrate OneTrust with CIAM’s data collection/ingestion features or pipelines and integrating with data quality monitoring and governance technologies
  • partnering with the business to build standardized data collection applications/front-ends leveraging CIAM as back-end to create and manage branded consumer data collection forms for operating companies
  • generating insightful reports and analytics to track and analyze customer and consumer identities data, supporting data-driven business decisions
  • preparing and providing comprehensive training sessions for employees involved in consent management processes
  • tackling data architecture, ensuring seamless data flows for enhanced journeys, and identifying opportunities for process and technology improvements that have direct business impact enabling customer platforms and consumer initiatives
  • planned governance and planning for solution and capability maturity, continually assessing people, processes, and technology- the operating model for sustained excellence
  • setting up the CIAM platform/technology for customer (B2B) and consumer (B2C) identities and access management
  • configuring and managing the organization hierarchy within the CIAM platform and managing the UAM for Heineken B2B and B2C users
  • planning and transitioning for both B2B and B2C perspectives from current to target architecture
  • developing integrations and microservices to enable business needs from CIAM
  • managing the current consumer Azure platform and providing support related to the current platform
  • managing the relationship with the CIAM vendor
  • driving the usage of the CIAM identity throughout the HEINEKEN stack
  • collaborating and building strong working relationships with the B2B build teams.
  • collaborating with the B2C teams.
  • engaging with business in operational companies to learn about actual usage and product experience.
  • being responsible for ensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered to (i.e. Quality, Compliance)
  • ensuring the delivered system and services are consistent with the agreed architecture and meet business requirements
  • driving the technical validation and ensuring the services of the technology vendors meet the business requirements.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in identity and access management, with focus on CIAM
  • at least 3 years of relevant (global) experience in a similar position
  • strong understanding of identity management protocols (OAuth OpenID Connect, SAML etc)
  • experience with CIAM platforms (e.g. Cidaas, Microsoft Entra B2C/External ID, ForgeRock/Ping, Okta/Auth0)
  • strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical environments and develop effective solutions
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
  • high attention to detail and self-driven
  • familiarity with API management and integration
  • providing dedicated support channels and conducting comprehensive training sessions for employees is part of the role
  • excellent facilitation, presentation, and analysis skills
  • business domain expertise for the relevant product
  • skills in developer tools like JIRA/DevOps/Test Automation
  • experience in working in a deadline-driven environment with rapid release cycles
  • experience in the rollout of global solutions operating across the markets will be considered as a plus.
