Technology Specialist - Procurement SaaS

The Technology Specialist – Procurement SaaS is part of the Procurement Digital Products Stream and is one of the professionals who deliver a potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint.

The Technology Specialist – Procurement SaaS supports the Stream Lead in translating architecture and requirements into solutions and participates in the technical development. Close collaboration with Product teams, incl. partners and OpCo’s is required to design, build and oversight initiatives in the procurement area.

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • working with the Stream Lead for Procurement Digital Products to understand, elicit, analyze, configure, document and deliver requirements and solutions, ensuring end-to-end consistency
  • keeping up with relevant developments in own functional area and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge
  • providing support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and training
  • managing the quality of the solutions and technical debt
  • identifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these, reducing complexity of the work that has to be done
  • providing guidance and coaching to other team members on changes throughout the design process, ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, build, deploy and support the Product are embedded in the team
  • providing inputs for budget and rolling forecasts related to the Digital products stream and procurement costs.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in IT with a similar scope of responsibilities
  • experience with technical implementation and integration of IT applications
  • excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing)
  • ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
  • team player attitude and you are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • ability to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others
  • agile mindset


Nice to have experience with:

  • development of technical integrations between systems using middleware
  • digital Adoption Platform (Whatfix)
  • working in an Agile team
  • ICX application configuration experience
  • experience in guiding more junior team members and / or driving development activities
