Technology Specialist - Infor

The Technology Specialist is part of the Product team and is one of the professionals who do the work of delivering a potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint. Product Teams are structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. The resulting synergy optimizes the Product Team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

 

In this role you will be responsible for, implementing, managing and supporting in Global Planning related systems, specifically Infor Advanced Scheduling, working in Global Supply Chain organization. The position will also align systems Architecture and work closely with other application teams like ERP product team to help make design, development and support system decisions to ensure strong and efficient Supply Chain Processes.

 

This role requires a solid understanding and experience in ERP (SD, MM) and Planning (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP and Scheduling) systems, a proven track record of development and support, creation of high-performance teams, and the ability to work in a matrixed environment.

Your daily tasks may include:

  • Ensuring consistency of the overall solution
  • Working with the Product Owner to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application requirements
  • Participating in the selection of new technologies
  • Being a business and technical consultant that is responsible for the design of the product
  • Providing guidance and coaching to other product team members on changes throughout the design process
  • Managing the quality of the solution and technical debt
  • Identifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these;
  • Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluate them for applicability
  • Keeping up with relevant developments in own functional area and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge. Is together with team members end-to-end responsible to deliver the value of a single Product through the entire Product life cycle
  • Delivering working product enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero defect culture
  • Ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, building, deploying and supporting the Product are embedded in the team
  • Being responsible for ensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Quality, Compliance)
  • Being tech-savvy team member who develops products with innovative elements;
  • Understanding business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories, assess the complexity of these and translate into implementable solutions and configurations
  • Ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements and architecture standards
  • Systems management, implementation, support and operations of portfolio of applications and services in Global Planning areas in Global Supply Chain
  • Applications Transformation, roadmap and vendor management
  • Evaluating and proposing a Supply Chain Planning systems (specifically Infor Scheduling) strategy to support Global Supply Chain objectives
  • Providing recommendations about new innovations leading to business application improvements 
  • Monitoring and improving the quality of IT services according to guidelines and standards
  • Working with the different Global Supply Chain teams to help optimize Processes across the value chain
  • Being responsible for the delivery of specific Business Process and IT expertise and support related to the Global Supply Chain Function

 

You are a good match if you have:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree, Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics or other related studies
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
  • A strong technical background with experience in one or more IT areas
  • A proactive approach to setting direction and ensuring continued stakeholder support and alignment
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and within a complex international environment with specific involvement with ERP-related Projects and Programs (SAP ERP, MM , SD , Etc)
  • A team player mindset as you will be able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • Ability to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others.
  • Ability to work across a broad range of business and IT-related subject-matter areas
  • Experience in integration of systems (via data lake/warehouse, APIs and/or Boomi). 
  • Experience in implementing Supply Chain Planning systems, specifically Infor Advanced scheduling is a pre.
  • Proven experience in IT Service Management frameworks and processes
  • A proactive approach to setting direction and ensuring continued stakeholder support and alignment
  • Agile mind-set
