The DevOps Engineer role is part of the D&T (Digital and Technology) department of HEINEKEN International and is located in the Heineken Global Shared Services centre in Cracow - Poland. D&T is proud to bring cutting-edge innovation, strong technology, and advanced analytics to HEINEKEN globally. With speed and agility, we ensure HEINEKEN has the technological competitive advantages it needs to deliver on its ambition.


The DevOps Engineer is a member of the Global Cognitive Services product team. The team currently owns the Cognitive Services capabilities within the organization. Enabling these capabilities by implementing a GenAI enablement platform on the global company level. The Cognitive Services product team is the central team setting the GenAI governance and implementing GenAI solutions for HEINEKEN's strategic business processes. The platform is your go-to solution for large-scale Generative AI transformation. It's a flexible ecosystem that provides top-notch tools and reusable frameworks, tailored to different maturity levels and user needs.


The product teams in HEINEKEN D&T are structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. All D&T product teams work in a setup according to Agile framework and Scrum methodology.


Your responsibilities would include:

 

 

  • working with the Product Owner and Architect to understand, analyze, document, and communicate product/platform requirements
  • participating in the selection of new technologies, executing proofs of value, and implementing new product features
  • communicating and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to implement platform requirements
  • maintaining and continuously improving the platform through innovation, automation, and functionality enhancements (e.g., CI/CD, Automated Testing)
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
  • staying updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices, and evaluate them for the product's relevance
  • providing end-to-end responsibility for delivering the product's value across the lifecycle
  • ensuring adherence to HEINEKEN standards in quality, security, and compliance
  • participating in Agile ceremonies: daily scrum, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.


You are a good candidate if you:

 

  • hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical field
  • have 3+ years of experience in roles such as system administrator, Azure administrator, or DevOps engineer
  • are proficient in managing Azure Cloud Services including App Services, Functions, and API Management (APIM), FrontDoor
  • have strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and PowerShell
  • are proficient in Git and version control workflows
  • have strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps pipelines
  • have experience with Azure OpenAI Services
  • have an understanding of monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
  • have experience with security management using Azure Policies, RBAC, and Key Vault
  • have experience with managing and optimizing cost management in cloud solutions
  • are proficient in scripting and automation with PowerShell and Azure CLI
  • are proficient with developer tools such as Visual Studio Code and Postman
  • have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


Additional competencies:

 

 

  • knowledge of identity, authentication, security, and compliance in hybrid solutions.
  • web application security and penetration testing expertise.
  • experience in Agile (scrum) environments.
  • team collaboration and a tech-savvy mindset.


Nice to Have:

 

  • certifications in Azure Cloud.
  • skills in SQL queries and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
