This role is a part of the Data Management Department, Digital & Technology Global Team (D&T) of HEINEKEN International.

As a Technology Specialist Data Mapping, you will focus on implementing and optimizing data mapping solutions across the organization, that ensure alignment between data initiatives and business goals. You will play a crucial role in software development by contributing to the development of engaging and responsive user interfaces for data mapping solutions. You will work closely with other developers, product architects, business analysts and product owners to implement features that enhance user experience and accessibility.

Moreover, you will contribute to the design and implementation of robust backend systems and APIs, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and enhancing the overall architecture of the application. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning backend solutions with business objectives.

Furthermore, you will ensure the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive testing and validation processes, developing test plans, executing tests, and documenting results to identify defects and areas for improvement. Your contributions will be essential in delivering high-quality, efficient software that meets user needs and drives innovation.

Your responsibilities would include:

• assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications, ensuring robust functionality and user experience
• working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software usability and functionality
• creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user engagement and accessibility
• helping in the integration of various APIs and data sources to enhance application features and capabilities
• following coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
• identifying, debugging, and resolving application issues and bugs, ensuring timely fixes and system reliability
• creating and maintaining documentation for code, processes, and application features to facilitate knowledge sharing as well as for data models, data flows, and data governance processes.
• supporting the QA team in testing the application to ensure it meets functional, performance, and security standards.
• designing and implementing data models that meet business requirements and enhance data accessibility
• managing data quality, integrity, and consistency across various data sources and applications.
• developing and maintaining API specification documents
• working with JSON files and other data formats to extract, transform, and load data as needed
• monitoring and optimizing data performance and troubleshoot data-related issues
• developing and implementing test plans and testing strategies to validate application functionality, performance, and security
• identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• 4-6 years of working experience in the similar position
• a Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• a strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design
• experience in network visualization and familiarity with JS network libraries
• a creative mindset with the ability to provide innovative solutions
• strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• hands-on experience with JSON and other data formats (e.g., XML, CSV)
• familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes
• expertise in relational and/or NoSQL databases, including design and performance tuning
• proven experience working with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• excellent written and verbal English.
