This role is a part of the Data Management Department, Digital & Technology Global Team (D&T) of HEINEKEN International. 

As a Senior .NET Backend Developer in the Data Mapping team at Heineken, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing end-to-end software solutions that support our enterprise-wide data integration and transformation initiatives. You will contribute to the design and implementation of robust backend systems and APIs, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and enhancing the overall architecture of the application. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning backend solutions with business objectives.

Furthermore, you will ensure the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive testing and validation processes, developing test plans, executing tests, and documenting results to identify defects and areas for improvement. Your contributions will be essential in delivering high-quality, efficient software that meets user needs and drives innovation. 

Your Responsibilities Would Include:

• Backend Development: designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core), ensuring high performance, reliability, and security
• Data Mapping Enablement: implementing backend logic and services that support intuitive and efficient data mapping workflows, enabling business users to transform and align data across systems
• Architecture & Optimization: contributing to the evolution of system architecture, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise standards and best practices
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: working closely with frontend developers, architects, analysts, and product owners to deliver integrated solutions that meet business and technical requirements
• Testing & Quality Assurance: developing and executing unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure the robustness and reliability of backend components through automated testing and validation
• Continuous Improvement: identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, streamline development processes, and adopt new technologies that drive innovation and efficiency.

You Are a Good Candidate If You Have:

• 5+ years of software development experience 
• Experience and understanding of Azure services  
• Experience in backend development with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework)
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices
• Experience working with data integration, transformation, or mapping tools is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
• Solid grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and agile methodologies
• A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to development
• excellent written and verbal English.
