As Technology Specialist - Data Lifecycle Services specializing in OpenText Document Management, you will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of our OpenText Document Management system. Your role will involve managing document repositories, ensuring system efficiency, and providing technical support to users. You will collaborate with various departments to align document management practices with organizational needs.

 

Your responsibilites would include:

 

  • designing and implementing OpenText ECM solutions for document management, archiving, and compliance
  • configuring and administering CORE Archive and Archive Center for secure and compliant data storage
  • developing and maintaining SAP connectivity with OpenText ECM using APIs, web services, or other integration methods
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop tailored solutions
  • providing technical expertise and support for OpenText ECM and SAP integration
  • administering and managing the OpenText Document Management system, including configuration, updates, and performance tuning
  • customizing and optimizing OpenText Document Management features to meet specific business needs and enhance user experience
  • ensuring the document management system complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
  • providing expert support to OpenText Document Management users by addressing issues, resolving problems, and delivering effective solutions
  • overseeing the deployment and integration of OpenText Document Management solutions across the organization
  • developing training materials and conducting user training sessions; maintaining documentation related to system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting
  • monitoring system performance, conducting regular audits, and implementing updates and patches to maintain system integrity
  • working with various departments to understand document management needs, deliver solutions, and support business processes
  • participating in technology projects related to document management, including upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • proven work experience in OpenText document management systems and having knowledge or work experience in SAP is an added advantage
    skills

  • minium 5 years of experience in OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM), with a focus on core archive and archive center

  • strong knowledge of SAP systems and integration methods (APIs, web services, etc.)

  • experience with OpenText ECM and SAP Connectivity, including design, implementation, and support

  • understanding of document management, archiving, and compliance principles

  • deep knowledge of OpenText document management functionalities, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting

  • strong understanding of document management best practices and industry standards

  • experience with multiple system integration and customization

  • proficiency in database management and system security practices

  • excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • certifications (optional but preferred): OpenText certifications or related credentials in document management systems

  •  experience with working in an Agile environment

  • you have problem solving and root cause identification skills

  • you are a team player, and you are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus

  • you can identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others

  • excellent English verbal and written.
