Technology Specialist - Data Lifecycle

Your responsibilities would include:
- system administration: Administer and manage the OpenText Document Management system, including configuration, updates, and performance tuning
- providing technical support: Provide expert support for OpenText Document Management users, addressing issues, resolving problems, and offering solutions
- implementing solutions: Oversee the deployment and integration of OpenText Document Management solutions within the organization
- customizing and optimizing: Customize and optimize OpenText Document Management features to meet specific business requirements and improve user experience
- ensuring security and compliance: Ensure that the document management system complies with industry standards and regulations, including data protection and security
- training and documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting
- monitoring: Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary updates and patches to maintain system integrity
- collaborating with peers: Work with other departments to understand document management needs, provide solutions, and support business processes
- participating in projects: Participate in technology projects related to document management, including upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- higher education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- proven experience: Proven work experience in OpenText Document Management systems and having knowledge or work experience in SAP is an added advantage
- deep knowledge of OpenText Document Management functionalities, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
- a strong understanding of document management best practices and industry standards
- experience with system integration and customization
- proficiency in database management and system security practices.
- excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- certifications (optional but preferred): OpenText certifications or related credentials in document management systems.
- experience with working in an Agile environment
- problem solving and root cause identification skills
- experience working in teams: You are a team player and you are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
- experience in identifying and understanding multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others
- fluency in English.
