Within Global Technology Supply Chain D&T, we are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced technology specialist to guide our Connected Worker Product Team. This important team within our Supply Chain Domain provides services to our shopfloor operators and technicians to make their lives easier in an increasingly complex world. You will work closely with the Development Teams of our suppliers, Product Owners, and Deployment Teams within the HEINEKEN Global Supply Chain organization, taking responsibility for Service Delivery, Information Security, Observability, and development according to Product roadmaps.
This role exists to bridge product development, service operations, and automation across the Smart Brewery / Connected Worker product portfolio. You will act as a technical stabilizer and enabler - ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, operable, and aligned with enterprise standards while continuously reducing manual effort, operational complexity, and technical debt.
Your responsibilities would include:
Product Development:
- elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- translate requirements and user stories into reliable, implementable technical solutions
- deliver product enhancements in line with product roadmaps, quality standards, and enterprise architecture
- work closely with Product Owners, Architects, suppliers’ development teams, and Deployment Teams
- document architectures, integrations, runbooks, and configurations, maintaining knowledge transparency for development, operations, and onboarding.
Automation & Engineering:

engineer reliable, testable services and automation, primarily using Python
-
automate build, deployment, testing, and monitoring workflows

apply DevOps and CI/CD practices using Git-based workflows

design and document test cases to support quality assurance
-
reduce manual operations through scripting and automation.
Service Delivery & Operations:
- operate and evolve production systems supporting Connected Worker capabilities
- monitor incidents, system health, performance metrics, and ensure SLA fulfillment
- lead service improvements and root-cause analysis to enhance stability and user satisfaction.
Quality & Technical Debt Management:

Track and prioritize technical debt
-
define and enforce quality standards
-
proposed solution and delivery.
Security Operations:
- embed security‑by‑design into all development and operational activities
- enforce secure configuration, access control, and data protection
- integrate security controls into pipelines and operational workflows.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technology-related subject and/or equivalent recognised work experience
- experience working with/administrating SaaS applications (preferably Azure)
- proficiency in Python for reliable, testable services and automation supporting production systems
- solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including automated build, test, and deployment using Git-based workflows
- experience working in an ITIL-based service delivery model, including incident, problem, change, and release management
- basic understanding of Project Management, requirements gathering, translation and work breakdown into smaller tasks.

experience with workflow platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or similar)

Azure / Entra ID / IAM knowledge

experience with shopfloor systems:
- Task Management (Parsable, SwipeGuide)
- ERP (SAP S4HANA)
- Warehouse Management Systems (EWM)
- Maintenance systems (SAP PM, Maximo)
- Quality systems.
