Our dream at HEINEKEN is to help our customers grow by serving them better, faster, and smarter with digital solutions. The last few years have seen a significant increase in the importance of digital solutions in the Commerce area at Heineken. These IT solutions have become a vital component in supporting the company's revenue. To ensure that this trend is supported and the IT in this area continues to grow, the new Commerce DevOps Hub is being established. The newly created organization, being an integral part of the Global Digital & Technology Function, is tasked with maintaining, but most importantly developing (functionally and technologically) IT solutions supporting the Commerce area at Heineken. Commerce DevOps Hub is located in Kraków and will include highly qualified IT professionals with direct contribution to both the technological development of the Heineken Commerce and the Hub itself. 

As our Business Analyst, you will join a dynamic, cross-functional product team driving global initiatives in the Digital Promotions domain, with a strong focus on Promotional execution for (e)Commerce. You’ll work in a fast-paced, international environment where business and technical experts collaborate to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-centric digital promotion solutions. Your role will be key in translating business needs into actionable insights and functional specifications—ensuring that each product increment supports strategic goals and aligns with the global blueprint for Digital Promotion.
 
You will support, guide, and challenge the Product Owner and team by identifying dependencies, blockers and opportunities, while maintaining a structured and holistic view of the product landscape. Your curiosity and problem-solving mindset will help uncover hidden challenges and drive innovation. This role requires strong stakeholder management across geographies and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to gather, define, and prioritize requirements with global & local stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Document requirements and solutions with precision and clarity, ensuring traceability and alignment.
  • Analyse dependencies and blockers across systems and teams, while maintaining a holistic view of the product and its ecosystem.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations to communicate findings, solutions, and progress effectively.
  • Support testing and validation of product increments against acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborating with both technical product teams and business unit's crossover different locations.
  • Foster relationships across global teams to enhance solution maturity and adoption.
  • Ensure quality and manage technical debt throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
About you: 
  • at least 3-5 years of relevant (global) experience in a similar position.
  • experience defining requirements and deploying Commerce IT solutions internationally.
  • good knowledge of Commerce business processes and functionalities in Commerce area (e.g., e-commerce B2B/B2C, sales order management, pricing & promotions, customer loyalty management, customer service, etc.)
  • good knowledge of market leader technology solutions in Commerce area (see previous point for examples)
  • understanding of the software development life cycle
  • good understanding of system integration and deployment processes
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and process modelling tools (e.g. Visio, Aris).
  • familiarity with at least one major (data) cloud platform, e.g. Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • excellent facilitation, presentation, documentation and analysing skills
  • good skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling
  • experience of working in a deadline driven environment with rapid release cycles.
  • experience with Agile way of working
  • experience in rollout global solution operating across the markets will be considered as a plus.
