The Technology Specialist (Test Coordinator) is part of the D&T Customer Service & Logistics Team (Supply Chain) and is one of the professionals who is supporting the Warehouse Excellence Program to deliver the digitized solutions to our Business.

The Technology Specialist (Test Coordinator) reports into the D&T Logistics Manager – Warehouse Management for Customer Services & Logistics and The Testing Responsible is accountable for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all testing activities in an IT project or product lifecycle. This includes defining test strategies, ensuring test coverage, managing test resources, and guaranteeing that deliverables meet quality standards.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

  • defining the overall test strategy, approach, scope, and objectives
  • creating and maintaining test plans, timelines, and resource allocation
  • coordinating test execution across different teams (developers, testers, business users)
  • organizing system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing
  • ensuring proper environment setup and test data availability
  • ensuring requirements are testable and that tests cover all critical business and technical aspectsidentifying, documenting, and tracking defects or issues until resolution
  • ensuring that all deliverables meet quality benchmarks before go-live
  • reporting test progress, results, and issues to stakeholders (e.g. via dashboards or regular meetings)
  • providing go/no-go recommendations based on test outcomes and risk assessments
  • identifying potential quality risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place
  • managing escalations related to testing and quality
  • optimizing testing processes, implement automation where applicable, and drive continuous improvement
  • ensuring adherence to test methodologies, compliance standards, or audit requirements.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • have experience with SAP EWM (Must Have)
  • have a good understanding of SAP EWM processes, such as: Inbound & outbound delivery, Putaway & picking, Warehouse structure, Storage bins, HU management, RF (Radio Frequency) processes
  • you have experience with software testing concepts, including: Test planning, Test scenarios & test cases, Defect/issue tracking, UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • have familiarity with test cycles: SIT, UAT, regression testing
  • have excellent coordination & communication skills
  • have excellent written and verbal English
  • can clearly communicate test status, risks, and defects
  • can organize meetings and follow up on actions
  • have experience with test and test management tools (e.g. HP ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps, QTest)
  • are organized and structured
  • have a problem-solving mindset
  • are able to work with deadlines
